The Program

The Expand Your Engineering Skills (EYES) is a summer internship program initiated by the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of New Mexico. Last year, five students from the various Indian Institute of Technology campuses spent 8 weeks at the department undertaking research under different areas (see Abstracts). The ECE Department, one of five departments in the School of Engineering, is committed to excellence in both undergraduate and graduate education involving students in cutting-edge research in:

The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at the University of New Mexico has the state's only accredited computer engineering program, and its graduate electrical engineering program is ranked #31 among U.S. public universities. The Department cultivates a world-class research environment with significant interactions with National Laboratories in the State, and with universities and research organizations nationally and internationally.
