Our group focuses its research work on modeling, optimizing and testing resource allocation policies in small-scale heterogeneous distributed-computing systems (DCS) consisting of geographically and/or logically distant computational elements (CEs) which can be affected by severe long-term damages such as those inflicted by weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
