Dr. Lehr has been a professor at the University of New Mexico since 2013, serving as chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department from 2013 to 2015.
Scientific Interest
Dr. Lehr is active in the Applied Electromagnetics Research Group at UNM, where she focuses on pulsed power generation and application, as well as high voltage phenomena.

Dr. Lehr served as President of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society in 2007-2008, becoming an IEEE Fellow in 2008, and currently serves as the society’s Fellow Evaluation Chair.
